LONDON – On July 14, 1942, Kamilla Breuer sat down in her Vienna home to write a letter to her children Lotte and Jozsi. They had escaped Nazi-occupied Austria four years earlier to seek safety elsewhere in Europe; she remained behind with her husband Emil and sister Minka.
